Dr. Muhammad Fairuz Jamaluddin, DAHP, DVM, MVM

Head of Equine Practice

Dr. Muhammad Fairuz Jamaluddin is a graduate of Universiti Putra Malaysia in Serdang, Malaysia, where he received a Diploma in Animal Health & Production in 2001, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 and Master of Veterinary Medicine (Equine Medicine & Surgery) in 2009. He started his career at the University Veterinary Hospital, UPM Malaysia as a Veterinary Officer from 2007 to 2013. During this period he was also the Resident Veterinarian at the Royal Terengganu Endurance Stable from 2009 to 2012. 

He has served as the Malaysia Team Vet for various games which includes the World Endurance Championship, UK (2012); SEA Games, SIN (2015); SEA Games, MAS (2017) and Asian Games, INA (2018). He has also served as a FEI Official Veterinarian in various equestrian competitions in Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Japan, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Australia, and France. Moreover, he was a committee member of the Equestrian Association of Malaysia (2015-2017).

 

Mohamad Nazim Khan

Veterinary Assistant

Muhamad Nazim Khan Bin Ahmad Khan is currently a veterinary assistant at Equine Veterinary Ambulatory Care. He is a graduate of Universiti Putra Malaysia, receiving a degree in Agriculture (Animal Science) in 2020 and also has a diploma in Food Estate Management in 2014. Nazim is described as an individual who has tremendous passion for horses which is shown by his abundance of volunteer work done in countless horse clubs in Malaysia such as STC, Benua Stable, Bukit Kiara and etc. Furthermore, he also went to Forest Hill Arabian Stud Farm, Australia to study more about the Arabian horse breed. In 2017, he was chosen to participate in the endurance games as a rider for UPM at the Sea Game Qualifier in Terengganu International Endurance Park.
